Delivery of the 600th Cessna Citation CJ3

 

On April 5, 2021, Textron Aviation delivered in North America the 600th Cessna Citation CJ3 aircraft. The CJ3+, an upgraded version of the CJ3, received FAA certification in 2014.

It features a Garmin integrated cockpit and cabin Iridium phone; high speed internet capabilities; Garmin G3000 avionics suite , which includes turbulence detecting weather radar, TCAS II, advanced Terrain Awareness Warning Systems (TAWS), and automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) capabilities. The CJ3+ also has an automatically controlled cabin pressurization system, and an advanced fault and maintenance diagnostic system.

The CJ3+ can be considered a light jet due to its range of up to 2,070 nautical miles. It can fly passengers nonstop from Washington, D.C., to Mexico City; from Lima to São Paulo; from London to Moscow; or from Shanghai to Bangkok.
